Bandra gets the first Plastics Bottle Machine

Bandra, the H West Ward of the MCGM is the first to have a machine that would recycle their Plastic Bottle. The All India Plastics Manufacturers’ Association (AIPMA), the apex body and the largest industry association of the plastic industry in India celebrated the anniversary of Swachch Bharat by donating a machine to recycle plastic bottles to the H West Ward of the MCGM in Bandra in its endeavor to minimize the plastic litter in the city.
The machine was launched at the function held by the H west ward of the MCGM at Patwardhan Park, Bandra on Sunday. Madam Alka Kelkar, Deputy Mayor Mumbai, and Cine star Dia Mirza were the guest at the function.
The machine to recycle plastic bottles would take care of plastics litter in the vicinity including the area around National College and the Linking road. People can drop their plastic bottles into the ‘bio-crux’ machine which will convert it into pellets or plastic yarn, which can be used for making bio-toilet doors, security guard cabins and paints.
